Travel changes in January on Belgrave/Lilydale line

Buses to replace trains in January
Due to final works to create the new Belgrave/Lilydale lines that will run beneath Springvale Road, buses will replace scheduled train services between Blackburn and Ringwood stations from 12:30pm on Friday 1 January and through the weekends of 2-3 and 9-10 January.

On weekdays in January buses will replace trains between Blackburn and Mitcham stations.

Please visit www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au or call 131 638 or check station notices for timetable details. Note that buses can add time to your overall journey and no bicycles can be taken aboard replacement services.

Mitcham and Blackburn station changes
The north side car parks at both Mitcham and Blackburn stations will be temporarily unavailable from early Friday 1 January to allow for replacement bus access and temporary amenities.

Nunawading temporarily closed
Nunawading Station has closed to be demolished. Trains will not stop until the new station opens in January on the west side of Springvale Road. A shuttle bus service between Nunawading and Blackburn stations is operating until the new station opens.

Buses arrive and depart from Springvale Road on the east side between Walkers Road and Whitehorse Road.

The project team and Metro thank customers for their understanding and patience.
