Springvale Road closure gains support from Minister Pallas and RACV
The closure of Springvale Road, occurring from 8pm Friday 18 September until 6am Wednesday 30 September, has gained strong support from both Minister for Roads, Mr Tim Pallas and RACV Chief Engineer, Peter Daly, who commented to Seven News that the project would 'improve public transport and reduce interaction with trains resulting in safer roads for cars, truck and buses.' Minister Pallas commented that the new high tech roof design for the yet to be completed Nunawading station would be 'safer and brighter.'
