Springvale Road and new Nunawading Station open

The Springvale Road Rail Separation Project is pleased to announce that Springvale Road in Nunawading and the new Nunawading Station are open (as at 4.50am Monday 11 January 2010).

The Nunawading Station is functional and safe for customers. You can go there, buy a ticket at street level (west side) and board a train at the underground island platform to your destination. While three sets of stairs are available, neither of the two lifts is yet operational. Train customers with special needs eg wheelchair, pram can use a courtesy taxi at Nunawading Station to transfer to/from Blackburn Station until the first lift is commissioned later this month.
