Good support for Ride to Work Day community breakfast
On Wednesday 14 October, Springvale Road Rail Separation Project hosted a Ride to Work Day community breakfast at the Nunawading Community Centre. The event was well supported with many people braving the wet and cold weather to attend.

Those who attended were treated to a healthy breakfast and provided with information about the facilities that will be included in the new premium Nunawading Station when it’s completed in January.
A new secure bike parking cage, called a Parkiteer, will be installed at the station and operated by Bicycle Victoria.
On hand to give expert advice about bikes, including bike maintenance, were staff from the nearby Nunawading Bicycle Super Store.
To offer people some relief to tired muscles a representative from the Australian College of Fitness & Bodywork based in Mitcham was at the breakfast to take bookings for subsidised massage sessions.
Thank you to all the people who attended and the support from local businesses and organisations including Bicycle Victoria, Rosaria’a Café, Station Street Café, Nunawading Community Centre, Nunawading Bicycle Super Store and Australian College of Fitness & Bodywork.
