Closure of Springvale Road at the Nunawading level crossing
Springvale Road at the Nunawading level crossing will be closed to through traffic from 8am, Friday 1 January 2010 to 8pm, Sunday 10 January 2010.
This road shut will enable the project to do crucial road, rail and station works.
Laughlin Avenue, Station Street, Silver Grove and Walkers Road will remain open to local traffic (see map 2).
Congestion is expected around Nunawading/Forest Hill/Mitcham/Blackburn so drivers should use alternate routes (see map 1), allow extra time and show patience.
