Plans and designs (10 photos)
Latest plans for Nunawading Station revealed - there will be a single, continuous (island) platform with the inbound train track on one side and outbound on the other.
It will include improved safety access and services.

The new upgraded station will include an island platform with the train lines running either side. Island platforms allow people to more easily get on and off trains and wait in a secure and comfortable area.
An open-design concept is planned for the pedestrian underpass linking the train station entrances on the east and west side. This will provide a higher level of security and amenity for pedestrians. The train station exit on the eastern side of Springvale Road will bring customers and patrons directly to the road level and retail area of Station Street.
This plan is subject to change. Illustrative purposes only.
