Building the Springvale Road Bridge, Mon 21 Sept (aerial view)
Steam was pumped in under a large specially designed tent to help cure the concrete slab faster. The concrete slab (600 mm thick, 45 metre wide, 25 metres long), which was poured and cured in approximately 48 hours, forms the Springvale Road bridge deck across the Belgrave/Lilydale Lines.
